Why are there hair clips on your coloring book site, Jewel?

I recently added something new to my website.

Dopamine Hair Clips.

Yep. They rock! They're so much fun! And they have absolutely nothing to do with coloring books or my hand-drawn art.

So why are they on the site?

Well, first and foremost, because they make me happy.

I'm bedbound, and I'm awake for roughly 18 hours a day. I draw coloring books and design planners and journals every day, but I can't do *just* that.

I also can't watch TV or read books for very long because I get nauseous within minutes.

So I craft.

A lot.

My Dopamine Hair Clips are just one of the things I like to create. Most of what I make never gets sold. I give it away to friends and family.

But the hair clips started piling up faster than I could find people to give them to. Plus, my ongoing need to keep crafting (and therefore buy more supplies) means I need to make a little money from them.

I've priced them as low as I can, and I intend to keep them that way. That's another reason they're here on my own website instead of a handmade marketplace that charges listing fees and transaction fees.

So yes, there are hair clips on my coloring book website.

Because this little corner of the internet isn't just about my books.

It's about the things I love to make.

I've listed the Quiet Dopamine Collection so far, and I'll slowly be adding more collections over time.

They're bright, cheerful, and a little bit whimsical.
